Capacity development

The project sites in Kenya, India and Bolivia are established as focal points for discussion on sustainable farming systems and are being actively used as research platforms for interdisciplinary work by different institutions. This is evidenced by over 70 students from different academic institutions, who conducted or currently conducting their respective research projects on SysCom sites. The program has made significant contributions towards capacity building by training project staff, the students, farmers, extension workers and researchers.
