Implementing and collaborating partners
The Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL) closely cooperates with local implementing partners at the project sites in Boliva, India and Kenya. These implementing partners take care of the establishment and maintenance of the project activities as agreed in the co-operation agreement and discussed in the SAB. The implementing partners also contribute substantially to and participate in the scientific activities.
The main implementing partners in Kenya are the Institute of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe). In India, bioRe Association is the main partner. In Bolivia main partners are Ecotop Foundation, Institute of Ecology (University San Andres) and the Foundation PIAF‐El Ceibo.
FiBL is also collaborating with other institutions which are not directly involved in the implementation. These collaborating partners support FiBL with the supervision of students involved in the project or they provide scientific backstopping for in-depth topics.
